U.S. hotel results for week ending July 4

The U.S. hotel industry reported another week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar data through July 4.

June 28 through July 4 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):

Occupancy: 63.5% (+3.9%)
ADR: $167.95 (+6.7%)
RevPAR: $106.66 (+10.9%)

Among the top 25 markets, Washington, DC, saw the highest increases in ADR (+34.8% to $209.40) and RevPAR (+57.3% to $149.78) with a lift from the America 250 celebrations.

Detroit reported the largest occupancy gain (+23.7% to 63.4%) and the second-highest jump in RevPAR (+41.0% to $76.87).

Philadelphia, which hosted America 250 events and a World Cup match, registered the second-largest increase in ADR (+29.7% to $188.91) and the third-highest lift in RevPAR (+38.9% to $123.35).

Overall, 21 of the top 25 markets registered an increase in RevPAR.
