U.S. hotel results for week ending July 25

The U.S. hotel industry reported another week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar data through July 25.

July 19-25 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):

Occupancy: 72.5% (+1.3%)
ADR: $173.47 (+4.9%)
RevPAR: $125.72 (+6.3%)

Among the top 25 markets, New York City saw the largest increases in ADR (+28.1% to $375.12) and RevPAR (+35.0% to $348.62). The market reported a 142.2% lift in ADR and a 179.6% gain in RevPAR on Sunday, 19 July—the night of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.

Philadelphia reported the largest occupancy gain (+9.0% to 77.1%).

Las Vegas experienced the steepest declines across each of the three key performance metrics: occupancy (-15.9% to 65.7%), ADR (-5.4% to $176.38) and RevPAR (-20.4% to $115.88). The drop in performance was mainly due to a comparison against Beyoncé and Backstreet Boys concerts held last year.
