The U.S. hotel industry reported an 18th consecutive week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar data through Aug. 15.
Aug. 9-15 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):
Occupancy: 68.0% (+2.6%)
ADR: $163.56 (+3.5%)
RevPAR: $111.29 (+6.2%)
Among the top 25 markets, San Diego saw the highest increases in ADR (+12.6% to $249.71) and RevPAR (+22.8% to $201.10). The market’s performance was helped by LPL Focus 2026 and a concert by Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
Tampa reported the only double-digit occupancy lift (+11.7% to 64.9%) and the second-highest RevPAR gain (+17.5% to $96.55). The market hosted the DoDIIS Worldwide Conference and a Mötley Crüe concert.
